TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to the manufacture and supply of physical number plates by The Plate Barn (“we”, “us”, “our”).

They do not apply to the purchase, sale, advertising, or transfer of vehicle registration marks.

1. Plate Types

We supply road-legal number plates and show plates. Show plates are intended for display or off-road use only and must not be displayed on public roads.

2. Proof of Entitlement

Road-legal number plates can only be supplied upon receipt of valid proof of entitlement and identification, as required by law. We reserve the right to refuse manufacture where documentation is missing, invalid, or unclear.

3. Custom-Made Goods

All number plates are custom-made to order. Once production has begun, orders are not eligible for cancellation or refund unless the product is faulty or manufactured incorrectly.

4. Accuracy of Order Details

Customers are responsible for ensuring all order details are correct at the time of ordering, including registration text, spacing, size, and fixing options. We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

5. Manufacturing & Dispatch

Production and dispatch times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, incorrect delivery information, or events outside our reasonable control.

6. Faulty or Incorrect Plates

Faulty or incorrectly manufactured plates must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion. Photographic evidence may be required.

7. Compliance & Legal Use

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure plates are used and displayed in compliance with UK regulations. We are not responsible for fines or penalties resulting from misuse.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the plates supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where legal requirements are not met or misuse is suspected.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
